What's Your Ikigai?

Penguin approached us and asked us to produce a series of micro documentaries they used through social media to coincide with the release of the book. IKIGAI: The Japanese secret to a long and happy life. We were asked to find three case studies for the project, one of which was Curtis. 

For many years Curtis worked in the banking sector, in a job he didn't particularly enjoy. One day he discovered his passion for beekeeping and leaving banking behind he followed his passion, setting up an urban beekeeping business in London. For Curtis beekeeping is passion and his Ikigai.
