What's Your Ikigai?

Penguin approached us and asked us to produce a series of micro documentaries they used through social media to coincide with the release of the book. IKIGAI: The Japanese secret to a long and happy life. We were asked to find three case studies for the project, oe of which was Akiko. 

When Akiko discovered her passion for pottery she never looked back. She eats, sleep and lives pottery. She makes stunning work of pottery in her east London studio and can be found there, following her passion almost everyday of the week. For Akiko pottery is her Ikigai.
